Ms Hodder is an early career researcher currently undertaking a PhD at the University of Newcastle on a NHMRC funded cluster randomised controlled trial of a school-based resilience intervention to decrease adolescent tobacco, alcohol and illicit substance use. She has a Masters in Applied Psychology and 7 years’ experience in health promotion at Hunter New England Population Health in the area of tobacco, alcohol, and obesity prevention including a pilot resilience program to decrease adolescent tobacco, alcohol and marijuana use, the Healthy Schools, Healthy Futures prevention trial and a childhood obesity prevention project called Good for Kids. Good for Life.
