Karen is a Health Promotion Project Officer for cohealth (formerly Doutta Galla Community Health) based in Melbourne's inner north west. Current and recent projects include Count Me In - emotional wellbeing of primary school aged children, Cease Today - implementation of smokefree workplace policy and chairperson of Doutta Galla's Reconcilation Working Group. She has been a committed lactivist and media spokesperson for the Australian Breastfeeding Association and is a registered Civil Celebrant, creating ritual and ceremonies for life's milestones. Karen is in her final year of her studies - BA Community Development.
