Barbra has qualifications in Public Health and Media and Communication from Queensland University of Technology. She has experience in a variety of roles within public health, local government and non-government sectors. Barbra’s current role is Health Promotion Coordinator with the Townsville-Mackay Medicare Local (TMML), where she has developed the TMML Health Promotion Strategic Plan 2013-16, and works to implement workplace health promotion and capacity building strategies across the region. In addition, Barbra is an active member of the Qld Branch Australian Health Promotion Association Executive for three years – previously as Advocacy chair and now as Secretary.
