Kym Perkins is a senior community nutritionist, working in the Health Equity and Access Unit on nutrition interventions and service improvements targeting priority populations within the metropolitan South East Queensland area. She has been in her role for seven years and works predominantly with the Logan Samoan community. Kym is passionate about the health of Pacific Islanders and is committed to working directly with the community. Kym has also led interventions with school tuckshops, the Logan Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community and best-practice for community events. Previously, Kym worked as a public health nutritionist in Charleville. She is a currently completing her Master of Public Health
