Suzanne Schulz is a Community Development Officer working for Local Government in Tasmania. In the same way that “all roads lead to Rome”, all of Suzanne’s passions and interests, work roles, study and volunteer experiences have led her to Community Development. Her current role includes the implementation of the Clarence Community Health and Wellbeing Plan 2013-2018, but she has been involved in a myriad of other youth and community projects in both a professional and voluntary capacity over more than 20 years. She’s also a mum of two now teenage boys; a role which has brought its own unexpected challenges. Suzanne has lived in all Australian states and territories except WA, a highlight being the 18 months spent living in the Mutitjulu community at Uluru. Suzanne is coming to terms with the realisation that she is an “Organiser”, whether that is for Scouts, family get-togethers, fundraisers, sports teams, or bushwalks. Sometimes she’d like to just sit back and read a good book!
