Nikki has worked in the health promotion field since 1994 in roles spanning practice, policy, research and teaching. Currently, Nikki is a Research Fellow at Menzies School of Health Research and leads a tri-university collaboration to investigate ways to support and encourage the uptake and use of health promotion tools to strengthen Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health promotion. She has a particular interest in innovative approaches for evaluating and improving health promotion and in reorienting and strengthening health systems for health promotion.
Her biggest life achievement is raising her two young daughters who love going to the beach and riding their bikes. She loves buying shoes and is a keen runner. She recently finished the Comrades Marathon - an 89km run in South Africa!
